Trivia[]

  • In Blue's Senses, Steve and Blue had a race with their wind-up frog and drum toys and it was a tie and Steve cleaned the Pawprint by giving it a wind-up. Then Steve heard the wind-up drum toy and followed it to the bedroom and he used the drumming for, “Blue’s Clues,” when Steve sung We Are Looking for Blue’s Clues and the toy was under the bed where Steve found a hairbrush, his bunny slippers and Blue, who found the wind-up toy, and then Steve felt different things to the living room like the pillow on the bed was soft, the desk was hard, and the sponge was squishy, then Steve and Blue played Lights On, Lights Off where Steve and Blue turned off the lamp, put away some toys, turn the lamp back on and the Viewer had to guess and figure out which toys they put away like blocks, the giraffe stuffed animal, and crayons, Mailbox was being tickled because the letter he had for Steve was covered in feathers, and then Steve and Blue skidooed into the computer of the Sounds Game to help Squirrel find sound notes where they pressed the sound notes and heard a bird, fountain and swings and Blue wanted to play train, which was the answer to Blue’s Clues (train) when Blue left three clues on a box, a light and the sound, “Choo Choo”, and Steve thought Blue wanted to put the box over the light and then shake it until it makes the sound and then Bunny Slippers, the Giraffe toy and Squirrel arrived to play train as well and Steve and Blue became an engineer and used a flashlight as a headlamp. And when Steve did the 5 senses on the 3 clues box, light, and train sound, he said, “See,” and, “sounds like,” But this time, Josh and Blue are looking to see where a stinky odor is coming from.
  • This is another show with the 5 senses with the Bubble Guppies episode "Come to Your Senses!" being the first.
  • Josh has a postcard even though Steve and Blue skidooed in one in Blue Goes to the Beach to help Starfish, Octopus and Seahorse go through different holes in a coral reef to get to a playground and in Mailtime Mystery when Josh and Blue helped Postcard get mailed.
  • This is the fifth episode where a door was a clue. The others being Adventures in Art, Signs, I'm So Happy! and Building with Blue. Only this time, this door is rectangular instead of arched and the knob is a rectangle too instead of a circle.
  • The food being a carrot and apple being drawn as a clue in this episode is similar what happened in both Steve Gets the Sniffles and Getting Healthy with Blue when vegetables with a carrot, potato, and celery were drawn, a Snowy Day when a carrot alone was drawn, and Shape Searchers when food with a carrot, can, and banana were drawn, which makes this the second episode where non-specific food in general was a clue with Shape Searchers being the first.
    • This is also the first episode where non-specific food in general was the second clue because in Shape Searchers, it was the third clue.
  • The clue cold being drawn in this episode is similar to what happened in Stormy Weather when freezing was drawn as well as Mechanics! and The Big Blue Derby when wind was drawn and was pointing to the right and Return of the Thinking Squad when hot was drawn and in Nature when Steve saw Windy and she got the seasons mixed up until she fixed them by moving a leaf-changing tree from Summer to Fall, ice on a pond from Fall to Winter, flowers from Winter to Spring, and a butterfly from Spring to Summer.
  • This marks the thirty-third episode in the franchise where any food or drink was drawn or being the answer to Blue’s Clues or being a wrong answer. The others being Snack Timeand Meet Josh! when milk was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on a cup, a straw, and a cow and when Steve and Josh thought that Blue wanted to put the cow in a cup and slurp it up with a straw, What Does Blue Need? when Steve thought Blue wanted to put the bubbles between the towel and the soap and make a bubble sandwich, Blue Goes to the Beach and Mystery of the Missing Pies when a picnic lunch was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on a basket, a blanket, a sandwich and grass and when Steve thought Blue wanted to bury the sandwich and the basket in the sand and cover them up with the blanket and when Josh thought that the pies were in a basket flying on some grass on a magic blanket, A Snowy Day, Nurture! and Blue's First Holidaywhen carrots were drawn, also in A Snowy Daywhen Steve thought that Blue wanted to put the snowball in the hat and have a snowball sundae with a carrot on top, Nurture! when feeding Turquoise was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on a bowl, carrots, and Turquoise, Steve Gets the Snifflesand Getting Healthy with Blue when vegetable soup was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on a spoon, a bowl, and vegetables, which included a carrot, a potato, and celery and when Steve and Josh thought Blue wanted them to do the vegetable dance with the spoon and the bowl, Math! and 123's with Blue when lemonade was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on ice cubes, a cup, and lemons and when Steve and Josh thought the lemons should wear the cup as a hat and slide around on the ice cubes, Blue's Surprise at Two O'Clock when orange juice pops was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on orange juice itself, a popsicle stick, and an ice cube tray, What Did Blue See? and The Fairy Tale Ballwhen eggs were drawn, Thankful and Thankful with Blue when apples and pumpkins were drawn, Café Blue and Soccer Practice when ice cream sandwiches and an ice cream truck was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on cookies, a scoop of ice cream, a truck, a cone and circles, Let's Plant! when a tomato plant was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on the color red, round shapes, and a vine, Let's Boogie! and Blue's Wish Comes True! when spaghetti was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on a pot, a plate, squiggly lines, string, tomato sauce and a fork, Blue's School and Welcome to Blue's Bistro when pizza was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on a circle, cheese, tomato sauce and the color red and when Josh thought Blue wanted to take a picture of the circle and the color red and ask them to say, "Cheese!", The Scavenger Hunt when cupcakes were drawn, The Snack Chart when Joe and Blue made a snack chart for everyone’s favorite snacks like when Mr. Salt, Sidetable Drawer and Shovel liked apples, Joe and Mailbox liked graham crackers, Pail, Paprika and Mrs. Pepper liked orange juice pops, and Blue liked chocolate milk, which was the answer to Blue’s Clues (chocolate milk), when Blue left three clues on a straw, milk, and chocolate syrup, Knights of the Snack Table (Blue's Clues & You!) when chocolate milk was the answer to Blue’s Clues again when Blue left three clues on a cup, a cow, and chocolate, Shape Searchers when food, which included a can, carrot, and banana, were drawn, Contraptions!when a bird feeder was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on a cup, seeds, and a bird, Blue's Big Band when beans were drawn, and Blue's Big Beat Band when Josh thought Blue wanted to put the beat between the 2 circles and make a beat sandwich.
  • The refrigerator is the answer to Blue’s Clues but it was part of the answer to Blue’s Clues in Blue's Surprise at Two O'Clock when orange juice pops were the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on orange juice, a popsicle stick and an ice cube tray and the refrigerator appeared in animated clue form when the orange juice pops were put inside it and taken out of it.
  • This episode features a callback to Blue's New Pet when Avocado said that he lost his election bid against Mayor Billy Chicken.
  • Josh found a sock even though in What Does Blue Want to Make? when a sock puppet was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on yarn, 2 buttons, and a sock, Superfriends and The Thinking Squad when clothes with a shirt, pants, and socks were drawn, and Something To Do Blue when Steve put a sock on his notebook and used it as a nightcap and then put the notebook in the sock as a holder and put the sock on Mailbox’s nose to make him like an elephant.
  • This is the fifth episode with a skidoo to Silly Town. The first four being What's So Funny?, Laugh with Blue, Magenta's Case of the Giggles, and Blue's New Pet.
