Trivia[]
- In Mechanics!, Steve and Blue flew an airplane but broke and managed to fix the airplane’s wings, the Pawprint became a helicopter, then when Steve went to get his notebook from Sidetable Drawer, he had to wait for her to open, which was how drawers work, then Steve had a race with Shovel, Pail and Gopher and Pail won, then Shovel, and then a tie, then Blue used a tape recorder to record her and Steve’s voices and Steve and Blue said in the microphone, “That’s so cool how tape recorders work, ha,” and then Steve and Blue skidooed into a race game and helped Rabbit on how to move her bike and Steve thought Rabbit had to talk to the wheels and tell them to go but that didn’t work so Rabbit had to pedal, then Steve helped Pig on how to turn his car and Steve thought Pig had to honk is car horn but that didn’t work so Pig had to use his steering wheel, and helped Chipmunk on how to stop his bike by pedaling backwards, and Blue wanted to fix a kite, which was the answer to Blue’s Clues (a kite) when Blue left three clues on string, wind and a diamond-shaped piece of paper because it had a hole in it and Blue fixed it with tape and there was no wrong answer. This time, there is a derby race.
- Slippery Soap never had a cousin even though Josh is the cousin of Steve and Joe and Slippery Soap had only his friend Sudsy in Blue's News and Big News with Blue when Sudsy told Steve and Josh about finding the third clue on a bottle.
- The clue is spinning like in Blue's Big Pajama Party and Pajama Party with Blue when Steve, Josh and Blue saw Earth “spinning” around and clockwise to show how the Blue's Clues House goes from night to day and day to night.
- This is the second episode where a spinning motion was a clue. The first episode being The Legend of the Jack O'Lantern.
- Coincidentally, this is also the second episode where a spinning motion was the first clue with The Legend of the Jack O'Lantern being the first.
- This is the first time that Slippery Soap skidooed because only Periwinkle, Shovel, Mr. Salt, Green Puppy, and Joe did with Steve in Periwinkle Misses His Friend, Blue's Collection, Café Blue, Blocks, and Joe Gets a Clue, Joe skidooed with Periwinkle, Tickety Tock, Magenta and Sidetable Drawer in The Big Book About Us, Numbers Everywhere!, The Scavenger Hunt, and The Fairy Tale Ball and Periwinkle, Magenta, Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and Rainbow Puppy skidooed with Josh in Our New Neighbor, Blue's Mystery Present, Building with Blue, Rainbow Puppy's Skidoo Adventure, Blue's Treasure of Clue Lagoon, Blue and Little Rainbow Riding Hood and Knights of the Snack Table. And Steve
- This is the second episode where wind was a clue. The first episode being Mechanics!.
- Coincidentally, this is also the second episode where wind was the second clue with Mechanics! being the first.
- Plus wind was used in Blue's Story Time, What Story Does Blue Want to Play?, The Fairy Tale Ball and Story Time with Blue when part of The Three Little Pigs was when the Big Bad Wolf blew down the straw and stick houses by huffing and puffing and Steve, Joe, Josh and Blue did the same thing, Nature when Steve saw Windy and she got the seasons mixed up until she fixed them by moving a leaf-changing tree from Summer to Fall, ice on a pond from Fall to Winter, flowers from Winter to Spring, and a butterfly from Spring to Summer, Stormy Weather, Making Changes, Blue's Predictions, Let's Write!, and Playdates when Steve and Joe blew away the Pawprint, Adventure when Steve and Blue got a riddle from Dragon about the wind and Steve and Blue acted like the wind and found the key by some flowers, and Return of the Thinking Squad when Blue (Super Blue) and The Viewer (The Incredibly Helpful Friend) blew on clouds to make the sun come out and melt the ice after Villain Ice, who was none other than Cinnamon, froze things up.
- In Mechanics!, the wind that Steve drew was facing to the right, but this time, it’s facing towards the left.
- Rainbow Puppy is singing a song about what a race car needs like Rainbow did in Blue's Rainy Day Rainbow when Rainbow sung Here Comes a Rainbow and sung that Rainbows need raindrops, sunlight, and refraction.
- This is the third episode where wings were a clue. The first two being Bugs! and Look Carefully....
- This is also the first episode where wings were the third clue because in Bugs!, it was the first clue, and in Look Carefully..., it was the second clue.
- There are binoculars even though in Pretend Time, Steve pretended to be a jungle explorer and used binoculars and a pair of binoculars by long and short things in A Brand New Game when Joe, Blue and Franny mooed like cows, hopped like basketballs and looked through telescopes.
- Slippery Soap has a racecar like Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper did in both Magenta Comes Over and Playdate with Magenta when Steve and Josh helped Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper make racecars out of food with celery and a carrot for the bodies, crackers and peas for the wheels, and broccoli and mushroom for the seats and drivers and like Shovel, Pail and Pig did in Mechanics! when Steve had a race with Shovel and Pail and Pail won, then Shovel, and then a tie and then helped Pig on how to turn his car.
- There is a smooth and bumpy road like in both Magenta Comes Over and Playdate with Magenta when Steve and Josh helped Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper make racecars out of food with celery and they used a broccoli and mushroom, which were bumpy and smooth and The Wrong Shirt when Steve helped the Opposite Sisters with their favorite places and when they had hills, the Big Opposite Sister had a smooth hill and the Little Opposite Sister had a bumpy hill.
- Slippery Soap is speaking to the Viewer like he did in Joe's Surprise Party.
- A propeller is the answer to Blue’s Clues but a propeller was seen in Inventions when Steve played the Inventions Game with Shovel and Pail and during the airplane part, the glider was invented first, then the biplane, which had a propeller, came next, and the airplanes with the engines came last.
