Description Polka Dots is Blue's stuffed dog toy, who comes to life in Blue's Room. He is silly and loves surprises. His favorite game is "Polka Dots Puzzles," in which Blue and the viewer finds puzzle pieces around Blue's Room and put them together to form a picture. Looks Polka Dots is mostly a celadon color with purple and pink spots. The ends of his arms and legs are periwinkle. His nose is purple and his eyes are black. Appearances Polka Dots has appeared in many episodes of Blue's Room and several episodes of Blue's Clues. His first appearance was in "Bedtime Business." His last appearance in an episode of Blue's Clues was in "Bluestock." His first appearance in a Blue's Room episode was in "Snacktime Playdate," and his final appearance in the series was in "Music Stars." However, he returned in the Blue's Clues & You! episode " Sleepy Singalong with Blue" and is able to speak. Trivia In Polka Dots' earlier appearances, Joe, Slippery and Tickety would incorrectly refer to Polka Dots as "her" in "Blue Goes to the Doctor" and "Meet Polka Dots!" Polka Dots' known puppeteers did another character on Blue's Room: His first puppeteer, Tim Lagasse, also performed Dress Up Chest in season six of Blue's Clues and "Snacktime Playdate." His second puppeteer, Peter Linz, also performed Doodleboard in season six of Blue's Clues and season one of Blue's Room. Before his Blue's Clues & You! episode appearance, he is featured as Blue's "lovey" with the Blue's Clues & You plush Bedtime Blue release and made an appearance in the Story Time with Josh & Blue episode "Polka Dots Has Lost His Spots." When Polka Dots speaks in the reboot, he almost always refers to himself in the third person. (ex. "Polka Dots needs something else." rather than "I need something else."). This is the second character in the franchise to do it, The first was Paprika in her baby years.
