Trivia[]
- The original title for this episode was “Kickin’ it With Blue”.
- In Soccer Practice, Joe and The Viewer were the coaches and were going to the park and Blue, Sidetable Drawer, Magenta, Periwinkle, Orange Kitten and Purple Kangaroo were going too. And when they got to the park, they all stretched at first, shook it out and then jumping jacks and they got 3 clues every time they score a goal. At first, Magenta had the ball and passed the ball to Sidetable Drawer, who passed it to Blue, who missed and tried again and scored. Then Periwinkle rolled the ball but as Purple Kangaroo and Magenta both went to the ball, they bumped into each other but learned that if they are running down the field and if they get close to the ball, they should say, “I got it,” and they know that they are getting the ball so they won’t bump into each other and when Sidetable Drawer passed the ball, Purple Kangaroo and Magenta went to the ball again and this time, Purple Kangaroo called out, “I got it,” and didn’t bump into each other and then Magenta scored, then Mailbox used his head and his whole body accept his hands, which Mailbox doesn’t have anyway, then Blue passed the ball to Purple Kangaroo, who passed it to Orange Kitten but Periwinkle snatched the ball away and ran off, which he should not do, and he had to play together and Magenta had the ball, who passed the ball to Orange Kitten, who passed the ball to Periwinkle, who passed the ball to Orange Kitten, who scored and then Periwinkle and Orange Kitten complimented on each other and after soccer, they all had ice cream, which was the answer to Blue’s Clues (ice cream truck), when Blue left three clues on a truck, a cone, and circles, then in Blue's Room, Polka Dots and Sprinkles gave Blue a blue soccer ball to Blue and threw it into a bin with a living basketball and football. Then played Doodle Guess with Doodleboard, who drew a picture of a boy named Drew, a soccer ball and a goal, where Drew kicked the ball in the goal, and then Blue drew a picture of kicking the ball and saying, “goal,” and liked the ice cream as well in Handy Dandy Journal. This time, Josh and Blue are playing soccer even though Joe and Magenta did in Soccer Practice and Blue's Backyard Sports Spectacular.
- The felt frame has a picture of bowling even though it was the answer to Blue’s Clues in Blue’s Backyard Ballgame Bonanza when Blue left three clues on a rolling motion, plastic bottles, and fallen down plastic bottles and Orange Kitten did bowling in Blue’s Sports Spectacular.
- This is the eighth time where a swing was seen. The others being Blue Goes to the Beach when Steve and Blue helped Starfish, Octopus and Seahorse go through holes in a coral reef to go on a slide, swing and seesaw, Blue's Senses when Steve, Blue and Squirrel pressed a third sound note and heard a swing, What Does Blue Want to Make Out of Recycled Things? when Blue and Al Luminum used an old tire to make a tire swing, Blue's Big Mystery when Steve and Blue saw the mystery builder, who was Periwinkle, push the tire swing, Rhyme Time when Steve and Blue helped King, who was wearing a ring, find a swing, and Let's Write! when Joe, Blue and Palette made the word, “Jump,” and Joe said the U looked like a swing.
- The Chicks are playing bowling and basketball even though Steve, Blue, Joe, Franny, Pail, Shovel, Sifter, Purple Kangaroo and Orange Kitten did in Shy, What's New, Blue?, Blue's Backyard Ballgame Bonanza, A Brand New Game and Blue's Backyard Sports Spectacular.
- This is the second episode where a bell was a clue. The first episode being Blue's Night Before Christmas.
- This is also the first episode where a bell was the second clue because in Blue's Night Before Christmas, it was the third clue.
- This is the sixth episode where a ball was a clue. The others being What's So Funny?, Laugh with Blue, A Brand New Game, Tickety's Big Musical Morning and Magenta's Thank You Day Surprise. Also, in Blue's Collection, Blue's Ball was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on a red stripe, a blue star and a bouncing motion.
- This is also the fourth episode where a ball was the third clue with What's So Funny?, Laugh with Blue and Magenta's Thank You Day Surprise being the first three. However, in What's So Funny?, Laugh with Blue, and Tickety's Big Musical Morning, it was the first clue, and in What's So Funny?, Laugh with Blue, and A Brand New Game, it was the second clue.
- The lake from Mystery of the Missing Pies was seen behind the ice cream truck when Josh and Pearl found the second clue.
- Pearl found the second clue like Steve, Miranda and Cinderella found the third clue in Blue's Big Musical, Magenta Gets Glasses and The Fairy Tale Ball.
- There is an ice cream truck even though in Soccer Practice, it was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on a truck, a cone, and circles.
- The Viewer caught the ball like they did in Blue's Backyard Ballgame Bonanza when Steve and the Viewer caught the invisi-ball.
- This is the third and final reboot episode to be directed by the second host of Blue's Clues. The first two being Blue's Big Imagination and Blue's Dino Clues.
