Orange Kitten is a young cat currently attending Miss Marigold's preschool class along with Blue, Magenta, Purple Kangaroo, Green Puppy, and Periwinkle, conveniently named after her color and species. She one of Blue's best friends. She has appeared in several episodes of the Blue's Clues television series and is classified a recurring character in the show. Her favorite color is pink which is proven in Blue Takes You to School.

Description

Orange is one of Blue's many friends from preschool, a young orange cat owned by a female human named Sam. The character celebrates Hanukkah with Sam, meaning that her owner's family is Jewish. Orange often appears as a secondary protagonist of episodes, though occasionally is shown as a main protagonist of them.

Looks

Orange is mostly orange with a small, triangular, dark pink nose. She has white whiskers and tan-colored triangles over her body. The character has a pair of small, black eyes and two black eyebrows. Her stomach is a tan-white color.

Appearances

Orange has appeared in several episodes. Her first appearance was in Blue's Sad Day. Her last appearance was in Soccer Practice.

Trivia

In Blue's Big Holiday, it is revealed that Orange is owned by a female human named Sam. In that very episode, she and Sam can be seen celebrating Hanukkah. Though it was probably for demonstrative purposes only, it could be speculated that one, or both of them are of Jewish faith, or have interest in Jewish culture.
Orange was the 1st cat to appear, the 2nd being Periwinkle.
In Blue Takes You To School, Orange's favorite color was pink.
She could possibly be based off of the original design of Blue.
Orange was mad in in 2 episodes. In Blue Takes You To School, she got mad at Periwinkle because he got her and Green Puppy wet. In Soccer Practice, Orange got mad at Periwinkle because when she was trying to shoot the goal, Periwinkle ran up to the ball and went crazy with it.
