Recap[]
The episode opens with Josh the Detective, while he holds a magnifying glass. Josh and Blue look for Mr. Salt's missing blueberry pies using a magnifying glass. They skiddoo to Detective Gopher's Hole. All 3 clues are grass, blanket, and a basket. Josh thought that the pies are in a basket flying over some grass on a magical blanket. That did not make any sense. The answer is the picnic, and the culprit was Mrs. Pepper who was bringing the pies to said picnic. As Josh and Blue eat some blueberry pies, they sing the So Long Song while Josh waves goodbye to the viewers and the episode ends.

Trivia[]
- Like "Blue's Big Mystery", this episode acts like a mystery.
- But unlike that episode, this episode deals with food instead of people.
- This is the second reboot episode where Mr. Salt says "You sure are smart." instead of Josh. The first was "Blue's Big Imagination".
- It turns out that it is the third time it happened in the franchise, first being "Imagine Nation", and the second being "Blue's Big Imagination".
- Detective Gopher’s room looks like Steve’s Blue Prints Detective Agency from "Meet Josh!".
- This is the third episode where the rainbow cups from "Happy Birthday Blue" appear, same as from "Blue's Big Neighborhood Adventure".
- There was an email in this episode.
- An email from Josh's friends replaced by Mr. Salt, first being Lola in "Sleepy Singalong with Blue".
- This is the first episode to feature Detective Gopher in the reboot. Detective Gopher, however, was seen in Detective Gopher and the Mysterious Snore in the podcast Story Time with Josh & Blue.
- This is the second reboot episode where a green crayon is used to draw a clue. The first was Happy Birthday Blue.
- This is the tenth episode where the clue is drawn with green. The others being Blue's Birthday, Blue's Sad Day, Blue's Big Treasure Hunt, Draw Along with Blue, Signs, Prehistoric Blue, Bugs!, Dress Up Day, Our Neighborhood Festival, and Happy Birthday Blue.
- The farm that Josh, Blue, and Gopher are at is the same as in Snack Time, Meet Josh!, Blue's Favorite Song, and Song Time with Blue.
- This marks the eighth episode where ducks were seen or being drawn. The others being Blue's Favorite Song, Song Time with Blue, Blue Wants to Play a Game, What Does Blue Want to Do on a Rainy Day?, What Did Blue See?, Joe's First Day, and Joe's Surprise Party.
- Josh does not interact with Sidetable Drawer because he already had his notebook with him.
- This is the fifth episode of the franchise, and the second of this series, in which the episode ends with a picnic, the first three being "Blue Goes to the Beach", "Math!", "Signs", and "123's with Blue".
- This is the second episode in which a picnic is the answer to Blue's Clues, the first one being "Blue Goes to the Beach".
- A basket and a blanket are clues in both episodes.
- Grass (first clue) replaces a sandwich (third clue) from the former episode.
- This is the fourth time in the franchise that grass was a clue. The first three were The Lost Episode!, Nature, and Blue's Big Neighborhood Adventure.
- This is also the second time that grass was the first clue with Blue's Big Neighborhood Adventure being the first. In The Lost Episode! and Nature, it was the second clue. This is also the first time that the host of any series used a green crayon instead of a regular crayon to draw a grass clue.
- This is the fourth time in the franchise that a blanket was a clue. The first three were What Time Is It for Blue?, Blue Goes to the Beach, and Blue's Big Holiday.
- This is also the third time that a blanket was the second clue with Blue Goes to the Beach and Blue's Big Holiday being the first two. However, in What Time Is It for Blue?, it was the first clue.
- This is the fourth time in the franchise that a basket was a clue. The first three were Blue Goes to the Beach, The Trying Game, and Can You Help?.
- This is also the first time that a basket was the third clue because in Blue Goes to the Beach, it was the first clue, and in The Trying Game and Can You Help?, it was the second clue.
- This is the last Season 2 episode in production order.
- This is the seventh time in the franchise in which the host of any series skidoos into a random object, but emerges out of the Yellow Frame. The first and second were Steve Gets the Sniffles and Getting Healthy with Blue, in which Steve and Josh skidooed into a story book, but emerged out of the Yellow Frame, the third was Blue's Big Beat Band, in which Josh skidooed into a song book, but emerged out of the Yellow Frame, the fourth was Welcome to Blue's Bistro, in which Josh skidooed into a postcard on the refrigerator, but emerged out of the Yellow Frame, the fifth was Blue's Night Before Christmas, in which Josh skidooed into a snow globe, but emerged out of the Yellow Frame, and the sixth was Spring is Here!, in which Josh skidooed into a butterfly book, but emerged out of the Yellow Frame. In this episode, Josh skidoos into a Detective Gopher book, but emerges out of the Yellow Frame.
Goofs[]
- Magenta, hence her name, is actually magenta, not pink. This further gives away that Mr. Salt saw Tickety.
