List of Snail's Hiding Places

This incomplete list will show where Snail hides in each episode of Blue's Clues and Blue's Clues & You!. This will also cover other media.

Blue's Clues

Season 1

"Mailbox's Birthday"	Under the snack table behind the left side of the middle leg.		When Steve was looking for Blue.
	On the living room window from behind the right curtain.		When Steve was looking for the 2nd clue (a tape cassette).
	Behind the left side of the present with yellow-striped wrapping paper, a small red bow, and a pink card located between the blue wooden letter D block and the present with violet-striped wrapping paper, a big red bow, and a palegreen card on the top shelf in the present store.		When Steve skidooed into the present store.
"Blue's Story Time"	Behind the left side of the vase on the small round table between the kitchen and the living room.		While Steve was looking for the 1st clue (bricks).
	In front of the white daisy and the red tulip in front of the stump holding the book leading back to the bedroom in the Storybook Forest.		When Steve skidooed into the Storybook Forest
"What Does Blue Need?"	In the garden on the right side of the amaranth pink daisy.		When Steve went to the garden where Shovel and Pail were digging.
	In the sailboat floating in the ocean at the beach.		When Starfish, Blue, and Steve reach the ocean.	This is technically the 1st time Snail is seen moving.
	On top of the living room picture frame.		While Steve sang We Just Figured Out Blue's Clues.
"Blue's Favorite Song"	On the living room window from behind the right curtain.		When Blue and Steve went over to the living room picture frame and before they skidooed to the farm.	Same location as Snail's 2nd appearance from "Mailbox's Birthday".
	Behind the left side of the silo next to the barn on the farm.		When Blue and Steve skidooed back to the living room from the farm.
"Adventures in Art"	On top of Steve's painting of Blue to the left side of the easel's front vertical member.		While Steve was looking for the 1st clue (a door).
	Under the left of the tree (with an empty branch sticking from the middle above Snail) in the backyard.		When Steve goes back into the house to look for more Blue's Clues after helping Blue paint her wagon.
	Behind the left side of the puce clay sculpture of a snowman and the top of the pedestal the sculpture was on.		When Blue and Steve skiddoed from the museum back to the living room.	The clay snowman sculpture looks exactly like the same one that the girls in the video letter made (the only difference was that the clay they used to make it was purple)
"Blue Goes to the Beach"	On the living room window from behind the right curtain.		While Steve was "swimming" for the 1st clue (a basket).
	In/behind the center of the bottom of the fish tank on the table in the living room.		While Steve was "swimming" over to the kitchen to where Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper were.
	Under the left of the tree in front of its left root and the puce tulip.		When Steve came out to the backyard where the "beach" was at and before Blue jumped into the pool.
"Pretend Time"	To the left side of the patch of flowers.		When Steve flew over to where Shovel and Pail were playing House and as he, Blue, and the viewers decide to pretend with them up to deciding what could be the house.
	Behind the left side of Sidetable Drawer.		When Steve and Blue sang the Mailtime song.
	Under the snack table behind the the left side of the middle leg.		When Steve and Blue pretend to explore outer space until it's time to go.	Same location as Snail's 1st appearance from "Mailbox's Birthday".
"A Snowy Day"	On the kitchen window from behind the right curtain.		When Steve was looking for the 1st clue (a carrot).	Same location as Snail's 2nd appearance from "Snack Time".
	Behind the right side of Sidetable Drawer.		When Blue covers Steve's teddy bear with a blanket and while Steve looks for more clues and her.	Same location as Snail's 2nd appearance from "Pretend Time".
	On top of the left side of the lamp on the left side of the bedroom table.		When Steve goes over to Tickety Tock.
"The Trying Game"	On the living room window from behind the right curtain.		While Steve was "juggling" for the 1st clue (a horn).	Same location as Snail's 2nd appearance from "Mailbox's Birthday".
	Under the picnic table in the backyard holding the Storybook Forest book behind the right front leg.		When Steve arrived to the backyard while juggling and before Blue and he skidooed into Storybook Forest.
	Inside the 3 Bear's house from behind the right side of the entrance.		When Blue and Steve skidooed from Storybook Forest back to the backyard.
"Blue Wants to Play a Game"	Behind the right side of the refrigerator.		While Steve was looking for the 1st clue (a duck) and when he asked Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper where Blue was.
	Behind the right side of the cup holding 2 toothbrushes on the right side of the sink in the bathroom.		When Steve went to the bathroom to where Slippery Soap was.
	Behind the right side of the patch of grass where the 2 candy canes are located in the board game.		When Blue and Steve returned to the start of the board game and before they skidooed from there back to the living room.
"The Grow Show"	Between the left and center roots of the tree in the backyard.		After Steve helped Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper figure out where oranges come from and as he went outside to find the 2nd clue (a watering can)
	Behind the right side of the felt pole with a bare felt grape vine next to the frame back to the living room in the felt board.		Near the end of the song Oranges Grow on Trees when Blue and Steve skidooed from the felt frame back to the living room.	This is Snail's 1st appearance in the felt board
	Behind the left side of 1st yellow sunflower to the left (between the 2nd and 3rd blue sunflowers).		When Steve went outside with the watering can and when he and Blue planted the sunflower seed.
"Blue Wants to Play a Song Game"	Behind the left side of the toy chest and between it and the panda with the trumpet.		While Steve was "giant stepping" for the 1st clue (the sun).
	In the bedroom picture playing London Bridge is Falling Down with the drawings of Steve and Blue.		While the real Steve and Blue went over to Tickety Tock.	Snail appears in the picture as himself rather than as a drawing like Steve and Blue.
	Behind the left side of the beach grass on the left side of the post holding the frame leading back to the living room on the beach.		When Blue and Steve skiddoed from the beach back to the living room.
"What Does Blue Want to Make?"	On the call reminder on the bulletin board.		When Steve followed the very long strand yarn to the kitchen (and the 1st clue [yarn])	Unlike the call reminders in most episodes, the one Snail was on didn't have a picture of a phone it.
	On top of the baseboard positioned to the right of the felt board
	In the jar of buttons in front of the yellow and red ones and behind the others.		As Steve and Blue made Sock Puppet for the rest of the episode.
"What Story Does Blue Want to Play?"	Behind the left side of Sidetable Drawer.		At the beginning of the episode when Steve opened the door and before he went over to where he and Blue were playing The Three Little Pigs.	Same location as Snail's 2nd appearance from "A Snowy Day".
	In front of the leftmost book on the bottom shelf of the bookshelf.		When Steve looked for Blue in the bedroom until he went down to meet with Cinderella and Jack.
	Behind the right side of the stump holding the book leading back to the living room in the forest.		When Steve skidooed into the forest to meet up with Rabbit.
"Tickety's Favorite Nursery Rhyme"	On the pink block on the bedroom table.		When Steve went to the bedroom with the nursery rhyme book to Blue and Tickety.
	On top of the directional sign post.		When Steve and Blue skidooed into a Nursery Rhyme Book.
	Behind the left side of the sidetable that Tickety was on.		When Steve went over to read "Hickory Dickory Dock".
"What Is Blue Afraid Of?"	On a sitck in the vase		When Steve was looking for the first clue (a feather, which flies around him before landing on the kitchen counter)
	Next to a bush		When Steve went to the backyard to see Shovel and Pail.
	On the cracked yellow swirl frame in Boo's haunted house leading back to the living room.		When Steve and Blue skidooed back from the haunted house to the living room.
"Magenta Comes Over"	Behind the rocks and in front of the flowers.		When Steve, Blue, Shovel, and Pail are following his long straight footprint to find him.	This is the 1st time that Snail interacts with the other characters. When Snail was found, he winks his left eye and wiggles his antennae, then moves to the right of the screen until he goes off completely.
	Next to the Clown costume.		When Steve and Blue skidooed into the Felt Frame.
	On the window.		When Steve and Blue sing the mailtime song.
"Blue's News"	On top of the hand towel hanging on the ring in the bathroom.		When Steve went to the bathroom to meet up with Slippery.
	On the big kitchen window near the kitchen table from behind the right curtain.		For the rest of the episode starting after Steve tickled Paprika.	Snail is present with the others at the introduction of Paprika, but it is unknown if he interacted with them or not.
