Trivia[]
- This episode aired exactly 2 years after "The Ghost of the Living Room" premiered.
- Josh and Blue are seeing another living truck like they saw Firetruck in Firefighter Blue to the Rescue!.
- In Pool Party, Steve and Blue made a list of everyone to invite and they invited Sidetable Drawer, Tickety Tock, Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper, Paprika, Slippery Soap, Mailbox, and Shovel and Pail and when they said, “Yes,” Sidetable Drawer smiled and said, “Oh. I just love pool parties,” then when Steve went to tell Tickety Tock, she beamed and said, “Yeah yeah. I’ll be there with bells on,” and just to prove it, Tickety Tock rang her alarm bells with pride. Then as Steve went to invite Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper, and Paprika, he saw they were making ice cream sundaes with bowls, ice cream, bananas, whipped cream, sprinkles, and spoons and needed help. As they made 3 more, one of the things was missing; First ice cream, then sprinkles, and then bananas. And when Steve told them about the pool party, Mr. Salt said, “But of course,”. Then when Steve went to tell Slippery Soap, he said, “Whoa. A pool party? Cool. I’ll see you there,” then when Steve was about to tell Mailbox, he already knew about the pool party and said, “You’re having a pool party and you want me to come,” because Tickety Tock told Mailbox offscreen, and then Steve and Blue skiddoed into a matching card game to help Joker find matching cards of King of Stripes, Jack of Swirls, Ace of Swirls, Queen of Polka Dots, and Jack of Polka Dots, and before skidooing back, Steve told Joker about the pool party and he agreed to come and said, “A Pool Party? I’ll be there,” and he arrived with a matching version of himself, and when Steve went to invite Shovel and Pail, Blue volunteered and Steve and Blue forgot invite Magenta, who was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on Blue’s School, a puppy, and a purplish pinkish color. But this time, Josh and Blue are looking for everyone.
- This is the eighteenth time where ice cream was seen. The others being Snack Time when the Felt Frame had Fred having ice cream, Blue's Story Time when Steve and Blue played Jack and Jill with Shovel and Pail and Shovel thought that Jack and Jill went up a hill to fetch a pail of ice cream but it was water, A Snowy Day when Steve thought Blue wanted to put the snowball in the hat and have a snowball sundae with a carrot on top, What Does Blue Want to Make? when Steve saw the Felt Friends make masterpieces of a sunflower and ice cream cone, Blue's Birthdaywhen there was ice cream at the table, What Does Blue Want to Do with Her Picture? when Steve helped Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper with a mystery ice cream cone maker and it was Blue, who made an ice cream cone, went outside to the picnic table and the ice cream melted and there was a trail of sprinkles and melted ice cream that went from the kitchen to the picnic table, away from the picnic table, around the Blue’s Clues House, through the front door, and to the bathroom where Blue was washing her paws from the ice cream, Thankful when ice cream was with pretzels and bread, Pool Party when Steve helped Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and Paprika make ice cream sundaes for the pool party with bowls, ice cream itself, bananas, whipped cream, sprinkles, and spoons, and as they made 3 more, one of the things was missing: First ice cream, then sprinkles, and then bananas, Café Blue when ice cream sandwiches was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on a cookie, a scoop of ice cream, and another cookie, Imagine Nation when Tickety Tock imagined her button picture as an ice cream cone, The Alphabet Train when Joe and Pail found ice cream for the I Box, Dress Up Day when Sidetable Drawer was dressed up as an ice cream truck, Soccer Practice when an ice cream truck was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on a truck, a cone and circles, Blue's Anywhere Box Surprise when Josh and Blue turned the anything box into an ice cream truck, and Knights of the Snack Table (Blue's Clues & You!) when Josh and Blue, who were knights, helped Marlon put ice cream in the right place.
- Josh thought The Viewer said, “Peru,” like Steve did in Environments, even though Josh didn't mention he had a pen pal there like Steve did.
- Instead of the Handy Dandy Notebook, Josh uses his Handy Dandy Notepad to draw the clues.

Periwinkle, Shovel, Mr. Salt and Green Puppy skidooed with Steve in Periwinkle Misses His Friend, Blue's Collection, Café Blue and Blocks. Periwinkle, Tickety Tock and Magenta skidooed with Joe in The Big Book About Us, Numbers Everywhere! and The Scavenger Hunt. - This is the first time in the franchise where a pen is used to draw the clues although in Nature, Steve’s notebook crayon looked like a pencil.
