Hide and Seek with Blue is the second episode of the second season and the twenty-second episode overall in the reboot series Blue's Clues & You!. It is a new version of "Hide and Seek."

• This is the first time in the reboot where the viewers interact with the letter.
• This is the second reboot episode with the color red as a clue and the fourth time overall.
  • Other episodes that use the color red include Let's Plant, The Boat Float, and Colors Everywhere with Blue.
• This is the first time the Thinking Chair is the answer to Blue's Clues. It's the second time it was involved in Blue's Clues outside of sitting in it to think, the first being when it was the second Blue's Clue in Inventions. It was also part of the drawing of the Handy-Dandy Notebook in the aforementioned episode, as well as Blue's Big Musical.
• This is the fifth episode where a chair was a clue. The others being Mailbox's Birthday, What Story Does Blue Want to Play?, Blue's Big Treasure Hunt, and Inventions.
• Starting with this episode, Niko Ceci replaces Jaiden Cannatelli for the voice of Cinnamon like he did with Corn from Corn and Peg.
• Tickety and Mailbox are the only two characters who appeared in this episode who did not hide.
• Magenta's animation of hiding under the bed/on the bed is just like the original premiere episode Snack Time when Blue did it.
  • This is also the second time she skidooed into a place alongside Blue, the first time was The Scavenger Hunt.
• This is the first time the Snail colors aren't just pink.
• This marks the fifth episode in the franchise where someone skidoo’s with Blue and the host. The others being Periwinkle Misses His Friend, Blue's Collection, Blocks, and The Scavenger Hunt.
• This is the second episode where a swirl was drawn. The first being Nature when Steve drew shapes.
• The Golden Snail resembles Snail's appearance from the original series.
• This is the first episode in Season 2 to break the normal episode title format of "Blue's Clues".
  • If this was the case, it would be Blue's Hide and Seek Game.
• The announcer in the Snail and Seek board game was voiced by Brad Adamson.
• This is the first time where the kids (Cinnamon) of The Spice Family appear without the parents.
  • This is also the first reboot episode where Cinnamon appears without Paprika, but he won't appear again with her in the credits.
    • It turns out that it is the second time it happened in the franchise, first being "Blue's Wishes".
• In the original episode Hide and Seek, Steve and Mailbox were the ones who were hiding behind the thinking chair.
• This also marks the fourteenth time in the franchise when other characters spoke to the viewer. • If one agrees with this, According to the end of the “Joe's Scrapbook” special in the original series (where Joe became the new host of the original series in 2002), there were some pictures showing different scenes from the upcoming episodes. And there was a photo where Joe and Blue were playing and hide and seek, and even shows Joe hiding behind a bush, while Blue was looking for him, much like what happened in this episode when Josh and Blue played at the beginning of this episode. It’s possible that this episode was gonna be in the original series during the Joe era, but never made it into production till now. It might not be true, but it is possible.
