Hey Diddle Diddle is a nursery rhyme that first appeared in the episode "Blue's ABCs". It also appeared in the book, The Blue's Clues Nursery Rhyme Treasury and in the remake episode "ABC's with Blue".

- The hosts Steve and Josh let the viewers read "The cow jumped over the moon" since they found out that this part was the answer to Blue's Clues and "The dish ran away with the spoon".
- In The Blue's Clues Nursery Rhyme Treasury, it depicts Periwinkle playing the fiddle, clay models of the cow jumping over the moon and the dish and spoon, and Blue laughing.
- The cow jumping over the moon and the dish and the spoon also appear in Blue's Big Treasure Hunt when Blue and Steve skidooed into the Storybook Land.
