Grandpa Thyme is voiced by Martin Roach, who also voices Grandpa Gravel in Rubble & Crew. It was rumored that actor Patrick Stewart was voicing him, but it turned out to be false.
Sage and Ginger are celebrating a birthday like Mailbox, Blue, Joe, Fred, and The Viewer did in Mailbox's Birthday, Blue's Birthday, Happy Birthday Blue, Joe's Surprise Party, Fred's Birthday, and It's Your Birthday!.
In Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper Day, Blue wanted to say, “I Love You,” to them when Blue left three clues on herself, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper themselves, and a heart and Mrs. Pepper had been pregnant with Cinnamon. But this time, Mrs. Pepper wasn’t pregnant anymore and everyone is celebrating Sage and Ginger’s birthday.
Sage and Ginger have been around for 3 and a half years since 2019 and it has been a year in 2019 in the show and Sage and Ginger are talking a little bit like Paprika did but Cinnamon was just and always a baby and never spoke at all throughout the original Blue’s Clues series until Meet Josh! when Cinnamon spoke.
Sage and Ginger and a heart being drawn as a clue was similar to what happened in Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper Day when Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper themselves and a heart were drawn as a clue.
