"Blue's Big Costume Parade" is the twentieth and final episode of the second season and the forty-second episode overall in the reboot series Blue's Clues & You!. It is a new version of "Dress Up Day".

  • This episode release in Philippines before it was released in the US and UK.
  • The US premiere featured a first look at the Paramount movie Clifford the Big Red Dog.
    • A promo for the first look even featured Josh and Blue getting a call from Clifford.
  • Mailbox was shown for what seems to be the 1st time to completely move from his original position in front of the house, post and all, as he appears with the others on the parade float (his post is most likely behind the cardboard cutout of the house).
  • This marks the third appearance of Jill. The others being Steve Gets the Sniffles and Getting Healthy with Blue. This is also the first reboot episode she appeared in that was a newer version of an original episode she didn't appear.

  • Josh going off stage three times to get the right props was similar to what happened in Dress Up Day when Joe and Blue went offstage to get the props of an elephant and princess. First Joe got an elephant costume and flashlight, then Blue got a crown and pillow and Joe got a silly hat and music sheet with a lullaby.
  • The hard hat being put on the hammer was similar to what happened in Pretend Time when Steve thought Blue wanted to put the helmet on the star and "rocket" (rock it).
  • This is the second episode where a parade was used in the end. The first time being What Does Blue Want to Do on a Rainy Day? when Blue had a marching band parade and left three clues on pot lids, a drum, and a marching toy.
