"Blue's Show and Tell Surprise" is the eleventh episode of the second season and the thirty-first episode overall in the reboot series Blue's Clues & You!. It is a new version of "Blue Takes You to School."

- This is the second reboot episode to have Blue's School.
- This is School Bus’ first appearance. He will appear again in "Something New at Blue’s School".
- The first was "Sad Day with Blue".
- Unlike the former, the characters went to school in person, similar to "Blue Takes You to School".
- This is the first reboot episode to feature Miss Marigold. This is also her fourth appearance overall.
- However, she is a hippo instead of a person.
- This is the second episode in the reboot in which The So Long Song was not sung.

- Instead the Gang sings “The Wheels on the Bus” at the end.

- Snail's 2nd appearance was as a toy on the toy train that Purple Kangaroo was playing with.

- This is the fourth time where a bridge was seen. The first three being Blue Wants to Play a Game when part of Up A Mountain was, “And Over a Bridge,”, Signs when Steve and Pail followed Shovel’s signs when the arrived at a river, they saw two signs. One read don’t swim across. And the other read there’s a bridge nearby, and Hide and Seek with Blue when Josh, Blue and Magenta went over a bridge to look for a yellow snail,
- This is the second time where a wall was seen. The first time being The Fairy Tale Ball when Joe drew a wall.
- This is the third episode of the Blue’s Clues franchise where wheels were drawn. The first two being The Trying Game and The Anything Box.
- This episode aired on the same day We're All Fruit Salad!: The Wiggles' Greatest Hits album was released. It was also when Raya and the Last Dragon was released.
- At the beginning Josh tell about his sock he said "Because the day I met Blue", his story reveals in the later of the new version of Blue's First Holiday.
- When Blue paints a rainbow, she sings Here Comes a Rainbow, which was later sung by Rainbow in Blue's Rainy Day Rainbow.
- Coincidentally, both of these episode have a wrong answer.

The others being Blue's Senses when Blue wanted to play train when she left three clues on a box, a light, and the sound Choo Choo, Geography when Steve rode on a train, The Alphabet Train when Joe and the others built an Alphabet Train and found objects for the letters: Airplane, Blue, Crayon, Drum, Eagle, Fox, Globe, Hat, Ice Cream, Joe, Kite, Leaf, Mittens, Newspaper, Oval, Periwinkle and Pail, Queen, Rainbow, Slippery Soap, Tickety Tock, Ukulele, Volcano, Wagon, X-Ray, Yo-Yo, and Zebra, which is the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on the colors, white and black, and the letter Z, Blue's Wishes when Joe and Blue wished to be small enough to fit in a train, and Meet Blue's Baby Brother when Joe, Blue and Sprinkles rode on a train to Alphabet City, Colors Town, Numbers Kingdom, and Shapes Forest.
