Blue's Backyard Ballgame Bonanza is the 15th episode of Blue's Clues from season four.

Summary[]

Steve is all dressed-up in his T-shirt and shorts as we head out for Blue's backyard ballgame bonanza. It is a fun-filled event containing all sorts of different ballgames. They help out our friends with the games by acting as a coach and telling them how they can make the balls do the things they want. They also have fun with Steve's invisi-ball and later skidoo into a stadium where they assist Steve in making sense of an obstacle course filled with ball challenges.

  • Emily Poole is one of Steve's Friends in this episode. She's related to Becky Poole, who will be the show's first ever Technical Assistant for NDAS, beginning with the very next episode, Let's Plant.
  • This episode premiered as part of "Blue's Beach Party", a marathon on Nick Jr. for a week from February 11-15, and on Nick Jr. on CBS the weekend from February 16-17.
  • In this episode, when Steve goes to get his notebook, Sidetable exclaims "Blue's Clues I'm so excited."
    • This episode marks the last instance of Sidetable saying this until the Blue's Clues & You! Season 1 episode 123's with Blue.
  • This declaration was standard in earlier seasons, but seemed to disappear once Sidetable was given more of a personality.
