Making Changes is the 9th episode of season 4. This is the 5th and final episode involving the story arc to introduce Cinnamon.

Characters Present[]

Summary[]

Now that Cinnamon has come to the Blue's Clues house, it is necessary to make some changes to keep him comfortable. That means that things such as loud games are out when Cinnamon is trying to sleep, but Steve and Blue learn that by just thinking a little, they can come up with changes that will let them still do the things that they want to do, but in a different way. Sometimes the changes are not easy at first, but they help others and are not really that much of a problem. In the spirit of change in helping out, Steve and Blue also try to find ways to help Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper to take care of Cinnamon.

Trivia[]

  • Sidetable Drawer and Mailbox didn't appear at the end of the episode because they were very busy.
  • Andrew Cherry, related to early Season 4 friend Matthew Cherry, is a friend of Steve in this episode.
  • The beginning of the episode features a caterpillar in the living room frame which returns in the episode Bugs!.
  • Steve blows the pawprint away like in Blue's Story Time and Stormy Weather.
  • This is the last of the five-episode story about Cinnamon's arrival.
  • The Handy Dandy Notebook is used as a rattle in this episode due to it making a rattling sound.
    • This marks the second episode to have the notebook make a sound when shaken, after Blue's Big Holiday.
  • Mailtime had to take place outside since the window was closed prior to the wind gusts.
    • This is the only time this situation happens.
      • The reason why the windows was closed was in case Cinnamon got cold.
        • Even though Steve went outside, Steve was inside during the Mailtime song.
          • The first time they were outside to do it was Nature.
  • This is the second episode where Cinnamon cries.
  • The scene where Steve and Blue sit on the Kitchen table to see Cinnamon crying and helping out with him is a remake of a similar scene from Nurture!, but in that episode it was Paprika who cries.
  • Every time when the camera zooms into Sidetable Drawer along with Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper, Paprika and Cinnamon, Sidetable's design changes. And every time when it zooms out, her design changes back to normal.
  • When Paprika blows the trumpet toy, it makes the sound of Steve's noisemaker in Blue's Birthday.
  • The wind-up drum toy and Sleeping Beauty's toy monkey are among the toys on the floor of Baby Bear's room.
  • This is the first episode to use lullaby music at the end of the letter. This will happen again later in Joe Gets a Clue.
