Summary[]

Blue and Joe met a wand named Wish. What does Blue want to wish for? Play Blue's Clues to figure it out, and jump into Blue's Room to make Frederica's birthday wish come true.

Jazzy Williams, relative of Joe's other friend Samuel Williams and Shannon Walker Williams, the voice of Miranda, is one of Joe's Friends in this episode. Colleen Regan, a relative of Erin Regan from the first two episodes of Season 6 is on the list as well.
This episode aired on the same day that The Fairly OddParents! special "The Big Superhero Wish!" aired on Nickelodeon in the US.
Joe and Blue shrink, like in Alice in Wonderland, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, starring Rick Moranis, and the Borrowers, but in Alice in Wonderland, Alice's size does not return to normal until she enters Wonderland.
Sidetable gets surprised at the fact that Joe and Blue were tiny when going to get the notebook, but Joe and Blue really got it when they were grown back to their normal size which was big.
When Blue placed a paw print on the backyard, it's really huge, and the pawprint was mirrored instead of the other way.
This is the final time in the original series where the kitchen was seen.
This could be Joe's version of Imagine Nation.
There was no skidoo segment in this episode. However, when Tickety wishes to see a real princess, she skidoos into the toy castle.
This is the only episode where someone other than Blue (and Joe in the next episode) leaves a clue.
- Blue most likely hired Wish to put it there.
This appears on some online listings as "Wishes," but the title pennant said "Blue's Wishes," just like this title.
This is the last time Joe doesn't listen carefully enough to "A Clue! A Clue!". It is also the only time in season 6 where he doesn't listen carefully.
- In this case, it's when the 2nd clue (ice) was found. He says "Oh yeah. If we could only find a clue." and "A clue right now. Where is that wish when you need her?"
  - Plus, before the second clue is found, Wish overhears Joe saying 'wish' and makes a pawprint appear on some ice cubes.
    - This makes Wish among the few characters aside from Blue to leave a clue in the original series, the other being Joe in the next episode.
This is the last time Joe sings the standard Mailtime song in the Blue's Clues house.
This is the only episode in the original series where Cinnamon doesn't appear with Paprika, but he will never appear again with her in the end credits.
- Coincidentally, this is one of the few episodes where Mr. Salt appears without Mrs. Pepper, but he did not appear again with her in the credits.
  - A couple of other examples that Mr. Salt is without Mrs. Pepper are "Blue's Predictions," "Blue's Big Mystery," and "Numbers Everywhere!", because Mr. Salt & Mrs. Pepper do not appear in the end credits.
Joe wears his famous and familiar orange square shirt in this episode.
Although there is no skidoo segment in this episode, the castle scene does give off a "skidoo" vibe.
This is the first episode where the Talking Clues go in reverse order when thinking about the answer to Blue's Clues. This happens again in Playdates and The Fairy Tale Ball.
This is the last episode of Shovel & Pail's regular animation, although they will appear one more time in Joe's Clues but with a different animation.
Mr. Salt appears without Mrs. Pepper, and Cinnamon appears without Paprika, but they will never appear again with them in the end credits. What's more is that Pail appears without Shovel, although Shovel and Pail appear together in the opening sequence and end credits.
When Joe says "All aboard!", the sound was recycled from "The Alphabet Train".
When Joe says, "I wish we could find a clue.", Wish shows up and says, "Wish? Did somebody say wish?" just like Jambi in Pee-Wee's Playhouse.
This was the first episode where one of the clues is on an entire location (The Backyard). during that moment upon seeing it, Joe froze for a second in shock.
The paw print in the backyard is not only very big but it is also mirrored.
Joe does not say "Pinkie... nose!" to end Blue's wish. He says, "Bye! Thanks for a great day." instead of that to make Wish leave for good and Joe and Blue sing The Goodbye Song to make ice-skating continue and the episode end, but only in the real world.
At the end of the episode, the characters who ice skate with Blue and Joe are Pail from her horse wish and Tickety from her princess wish, except Mr. Salt with Cinnamon from his snack-yard wish, but them, Mrs. Pepper, and Paprika, are absent in the end credits.
In the letter, three of the kids made wishes except the boy in the red long-sleeved shirt.
At the end of the episode, when Wish goes home, ice skating still happens, even though Blue and Joe made it back into the real world.
The characters who are absent and don't make their wishes are Magenta, Mrs. Pepper, Paprika, Slippery Soap, and Periwinkle.
The characters who don't make their wishes when appearing are Sidetable Drawer and Mailbox.
This is the last episode where Moona doesn't appear in the credits in Snack Time.
This is the last episode where Cinnamon cries.
When Joe and Blue say goodbye to Wish, the snow stays in the backyard and is still there.
Joe does not say, "Pinkie... nose!" to end Blue's wish. Instead, he says, "Bye! Thanks for a great day." to make Wish leave for good and make Blue's wish be kept how it is.
This episode marks the only appearance of Wish.
Wish, Come True! is Joe's version of The Imagination Song.
After Mr. Salt's wish ends while he is gone with Cinnamon forever, the plants in the backyard are not snacks anymore and one of the real flowers is gone, except for its stem.
In Tickety's wish, the real princess teaches Tickety and the viewer how to wear her crown on her head by taking turns with it.
This is the second and final episode in which Mr. Salt imagines. This time, he imagines himself with Cinnamon in a snack-yard with Joe having a graham cracker off a bush. The first time he did it was in Imagine Nation, imagining himself with his friends in a carnival eating cotton candy.
At the end of the episode, Blue ice skates just like Steve who found the first clue in Imagine Nation.
After Joe says, "We made some amazing wishes today!", he does not say, "In fact, Pail, Tickety, and Mr. Salt never would've made them without you!". Instead, he says, "Don't you think?", which will happen again later in "Soccer Practice" after he says "We made a great team!".
In this episode, "Pinkie... nose!" is said, only to make Joe and Blue grow back to their normal size, to make Pail's pet horse go back into the book, to make Tickety leave the princess' castle, and to make all the snacks get changed back into flowers. After that, "Bye! Thanks for a great day." is said instead, only to make the snow stay in the backyard and still be there.

Goofs[]

The drumroll was not heard when Joe found the third clue.
