Trivia[]
- Troll, Goblin, Dragon, Sidetable and Mailbox did not appear at the end of the episode because they were very busy.
- Jacob Cherry, related to early Season 4 friend Matthew Cherry, is a friend of Steve in this episode.
- Steve said "Giant Steps" from Blue Wants to Play a Song Game.
- This is the first episode where Jonathan Press voices Shovel since Blue's Big Musical Movie.
- This is the only episode to feature a sound like the second clue. Usually, a sound would be the third clue.
- This is the second episode to have a booming sound like one of the clues. The first was What's That Sound?.
- This is the second episode to have a person clue after Draw Along with Blue. The third time is A Surprise Guest.
- This is the episode where Steve and Blue needed to answer a riddle from the troll just like Dora and Boots had to solve a riddle from the Grumpy Old Troll from Dora the Explorer.
- This episode is included as a bonus on the DVD Little Blue Riding Hood.
- This is the first episode to use the new intro, but with the quiet opening and nobody in it, except for Mailbox, Periwinkle and Magenta.
- At the end of the letter, trumpets play the ending of "We Just Figured Out Blue's Clues" instead.
- The skidoo characters appear in the online story, "What's In The Box?", but in Periwinkle's imagination.
- In the letter, the kids went on an adventure to end up at the secret cave to find their surprise, which is a monkey that looks like Buddy from the upcoming episode "Meet Polka Dots!", except he's naked.
- Mailtime happens in this episode after Steve finds the first clue, just like in Geography.
- In this episode, the dragon steals the magic key from under the ground and on a rock, but when it's in the flowers, Queen Blue grabs it.
- The video letter is very similar to the skidoo segment in the episode "Geography" where Steve and Blue use a map to find Gingerbread Girl and end up at her house.
Running Gags[]
- Steve talks like he's an actual knight as if he and the gang were in the medieval times.
