A Blue's Clues Festival of Lights is the third episode of season three and the forty-third episode overall in the reboot series Blue's Clues & You!. It is a new version of "A Surprise Guest”.
Summary[]
A special, surprise guest comes to Periwinkle’s house to celebrate Hanukkah, the very joyful, festival of lights. Josh and Blue play Blue’s Clues to figure out who the surprise guest is, and celebrate the holiday by spinning dreidels, frying latkes, and singing an original Hanukkah song.

- This episode aired on the same day that the movie A Loud House Christmas premiered.
- This is the second time in the franchise where someone celebrated Chanukah. The first time being Blue's Big Holiday when Steve and Blue saw Orange Kitten and her owner Sam celebrating Chanukah.
- This marks the second time where a talking dreidel was seen. The first time being Holiday Wishes in Blue's Room.
- The dreidel is voiced by Markeda McKay, who also voices a chick in Song Time with Blue, Baby Bear in Story Time with Blue and Pirate Panda Peggy in Blue's Treasure Hunt, as well as Elinor the rabbit in the animated series Elinor Wonders Why.
- Mr. Salt appears by himself without Mrs. Pepper, but he does not appear again with her in the credits.
- This is the fifth episode in the franchise where pink was seen. - This is the first time in the franchise where we can see what Periwinkle's house looks like from the inside. Throughout the original series, We didn't get a single episode where neither Steve or Joe where they get to go inside the house. The house is simliar to the Blue's Clues living room but with shades of mainly purple with blue, indigo, and violet. Plus, the window and a purple Thinking Chair also swapped places.
- This is the first time in which Periwinkle has an owner. Throughout the original Blue’s Clues series, Periwinkle never had an owner or grandfather apart from Steve, Joe, and Josh, who have their grandmothers, one including Lola, and are Blue’s owners, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, who are the family members to have children, who are Paprika, Cinnamon, Sage, and Ginger, Green Puppy, who’s owner is Wynonna, Orange Kitten, who’s owner is Sam, Purple Kangaroo, who’s owner is Tyrese, and Magenta, who’s owner is Miranda.
- Periwinkle asked Blue the question and Blue put the paw print on the screen, which is similar to Joe's Surprise Party when Mr. Salt asked Blue, "What else do we need to do to get ready for the surprise party?", instead of Joe.
