Blue's Treasure of Clue Lagoon is the twelfth episode of season three and the fifty-second episode overall in the reboot series Blue's Clues & You!. It is another new version of "Blue's Big Treasure Hunt".

Summary[]

The day after the Blue's Clues gang returned home from New York City (as shown in Blue's Big City Adventure), Blue hid a treasure somewhere in Clue Lagoon, and Rainbow Puppy needs help finding it! And so begins a Blue's Clues treasure hunt, in which Josh, Blue, and Rainbow Puppy journey across Clue Lagoon using the Handy Dandy Map Book, decoding symbols to get through ancient walls.

In a different story from "Blue's Big Treasure Hunt," just as Josh welcomes the viewer, it is Mail Time. Josh and Blue are surprised that it is Mail Time already.

This episode takes place after the events of Blue's Big City Adventure.
This is 1 of 5 pirate-themed episodes that aired on Nick Jr on that week, the others being "Pirates" (Face's Music Party), "Danny's Pirate Bedroom" (Peppa Pig), "The Treasure of the Broken Key: A Musical Adventure" (Blaze and the Monster Machines), and "The Trials of the Pirate Protector" (Santiago of the Seas).
This is Rainbow Puppy’s first game of Blue's Clues.
The Mailtime segment is placed at the beginning of the episode like in Blue's Big Treasure Hunt and Maitime Mystery.
- However, unlike in Blue's Big Treasure Hunt, the Mailtime song plays after the introduction finishes.
The Mapbook was voiced by Steve Burns, who played in the both original and reboot Blue’s Clues series.
- Because Steve voiced Mapbook, this marks the first episode where Steve explains how to draw clues since Joe Gets a Clue .
A sneak peek of the ''Paw Patrol'' Paramount+ exclusive special "Cat Pack" (specifically the episode "Cat Pack/PAW Patrol Rescue: Rocket Rescuers") was shown during this episode's premiere.
This is the sixth episode of the reboot where an animated clue moves differently above the host's head and shoulders. The first five being ABC's with Blue, Blue's Big Beat Band, Blue's Beach Bonanza, Blue's Snowy Day Surprise, and Blue's Mystery Present.
- This is also the second reboot episode where two animated clues move differently above the host's head and shoulders with ABC's with Blue being the first. However, in Blue's Big Beat Band, Blue's Beach Bonanza, Blue's Snowy Day Surprise, and Blue's Mystery Present, only one clue moves differently above the host's head and shoulders.
The Blue's Clues House being the Living Room Picture is likely a reference to Mailbox interrupting the intro when Steve tries to welcome us in Blue's Big Treasure Hunt.
