This time, there is a pet contest.
- The Pawprint turned itself into a check even though Steve, Joe, Josh, Blue and Sprinkles put checks on certain lists like in Blue's ABCs, ABC's with Blue, Pool Party, The Scavenger Hunt and Blue's Farm Playdate.
- This is the fifteenth time where a fish was seen. The others being Pretend Time when a second cloud of a fish was seen, The Trying Game and Nature when there was a fish nearby, What Did Blue See? when Steve and Blue saw a fish in a bowl through a kaleidoscope and Steve and Squirrel saw a bird on a bridge and saw some fish below, Art Appreciation when Steve helped Tickety Tock, Slippery Soap and Phaderus find fish in their finger, impressionist, and mosaic paintings, Animal Behavior! when Steve, who pretended to be a fish, and Blue helped Lady Gooddiver find a leaf fish, rockfish and parrot fish, Blue's Big Costume Party and Spooky Costume Party with Blue when Steve and Josh, who were aliens, saw Blue all dressed up as a fish, Imagine Nation when Steve imagined a white blanket over two chairs and a hula hoop as an igloo and ice hole for ice fishing, Blue's Big Imagination when Tickety Tock, Slippery Soap and Magenta imagined a button story and there were fishes in it, Shape Searchers when Joe and Blue helped Oval, Triangle and Crescent find a fish for them to fit on, Up, Down, All Around! when a fish was the answer to Blue’s Clues when Blue left three clues on an under motion, water and scales, Magenta's Messages when Joe and Blue fed Magenta’s pet fish, and Rainbow Puppy's Big Farm Fair when Rainbow Puppy got a blue fish from a fish game.
- Goldfish and Hamster had a tie like Steve and Blue did in Blue's Senses when they had a race with their frog and drum wind-up toys and it was a tie and Shovel and Pail did in Mechanics! when they had a race and Pail won, then Shovel, and then a tie.
- This is the third episode where the color pink was drawn as part of a clue. The first two being Pool Party and Meet Blue's Baby Brother. And pink was used in Adventures in Art when Steve and Blue made pink to paint the wheels on Blue’s wagon and Blue's School when Tickety Tock made pink to make a portrait of herself.
