- This is Cinnamon, Joe, Josh, Sage and Ginger’s first appearance in a Blue's Clues film. Cinnamon was not born until 2001 (a year after the "Blue's Big Musical") and in addition, Sage and Ginger weren't born until 2019.
- Also, Joe and Josh weren’t introduced on screen until 2002 and 2019, respectively.
- This will be the 3rd Nickelodeon movie based on a Nick Jr. series, the 1st being Dora and the Lost City of Gold (based on Dora the Explorer) and the 2nd being PAW Patrol: The Movie (based on PAW Patrol).
