"Blue's Big Beat Band" is the first episode of the second season and the twenty-first episode overall in the reboot series Blue's Clues & You!. It is a new version of "Blue's Big Band." Unlike other Blue's Clues & You! episodes, it is not a remake of the season 5 episode "Blue's Big Band."

• This is the first episode of the reboot to have an entirely original story, rather than just remaking an episode of the original series. This episode was announced in July 2020 and is mistakenly believed to be the remake of "Blue's Big Band" because that episode is very similar to this episode, it also has a similar title and many of its characters (other than the ones that are missing).
  • This was also the first episode as a new story since the original Season 6 finale, "Bluestock".
• This is the first episode since "Science with Blue" to feature an incorrect answer to Blue's Clues.
  • This was also the first original episode in the franchise since "Math!" to feature an incorrect answer to Blue's Clues.
• This is one of the episodes to use a circle as a clue.
• This marks the eighth episode in the franchise where any type of musical instrument was drawn or the answer to Blue’s Clues. The others being Mailbox's Birthday, Blue's Favorite Song, Song Time with Blue, What Does Blue Want to Make Out of Recycled Things?, What Does Blue Want to Do on a Rainy Day?, The Baby's Here!, and Blue's Big Band.
• A beat sandwich was similar to what happened in What Does Blue Need? when Steve thought Blue wanted to put the bubbles between the towel and the soap and make a bubble sandwich.
• Sidetable Drawer is voiced by Shazdeh Kapadia, replacing Liyou Abere.
  • Additionally, her star-shaped glasses were from Song Time with Blue.
• Different music has been recorded in this episode's "Play Blue's Clues", "We Just Got An Email" and "The So Long Song".
