"Blue's Big Beat Band" is the first episode of the second season and the twenty-first episode overall in the reboot series Blue's Clues & You!. It is a new version of "Blue's Big Band." Unlike other Blue's Clues & You! episodes, it is not a remake of the season 5 episode "Blue's Big Band."

- This is the first episode of the reboot to have an entirely original story, rather than just remaking an episode of the original series. This episode was announced in July 2020 and is mistakenly believed to be the remake of "Blue's Big Band" because that episode is very similar to this episode, it also has a similar title and many of its characters (other than the ones that are missing).
- This was also the first episode as a new story since the original Season 6 finale, "Bluestock".
- This is the first episode since "Science with Blue" to feature an incorrect answer to Blue's Clues.
- This was also the first original episode in the franchise since "Math!" to feature an incorrect answer to Blue's Clues.
- This is one of the episodes to use a circle as a clue.
- This marks the eighth episode in the franchise where any type of musical instrument was drawn or the answer to Blue’s Clues.
